The 3rd Annual Dinner with Friends is set for October 5, 2010. Read on for coverage of last year's event.                               

Last year's event was held on Tuesday, June 2nd at the beautiful home of event chair, Abby Wolf-Weiss, and Daniel Weiss, who opened their doors to 275 guests. With the help of the Friends of The Alliance, Ernst & Young, Don and Nancy de Brier and the Circle Sponsors, the event raised over $50K for the vulnerable population of foster youth aging out of foster care.

A variety of L.A.'s best vendors donated delicious food and beverages, while singer/songwriter Jonathan Clark and sponsor, Daniel Clark, provided live entertainment throughout the evening, along with a performance by up-and-coming artist Nikki Jean.

The evening's program culminated in a moving personal testament from former foster youth, Liz Garcia, and a heart-warming reflection from The Alliance's first Mentor/Mentee match, Elinam Dellor and Myriam Nozil. Thanks to our constant friend and board member, Angie Harmon, who introduced our incredible speakers and reminded all of the youth in attendance that they always have a support base with The Alliance.
