For the past two years in early December, ArtPic has hosted a Holiday gathering to benefit The Alliance. Original artwork is sold and children and families enjoy fun activities and art projects.

Charity By Numbers

In 2007 The Corey Helford Gallery owners, Jan and Bruce Helford, held a week-long on-line auction of classic, hand-painted, vintage paint-by-numbers that were transformed into modern one-of-a-kind masterpieces by the most sought-after artists of the Pop-Surrealist, Lowbrow, Graffiti, Outsider, Urban, New Fine Art and Contemporary Movements. The show began with a gala evening with live auction at the gallery, followed by a one week E-Bay auction. 100% of the proceeds from the E-Bay auction, a total of over $166,000, went to The Alliance.

Elie Tahari

To celebrate the opening of its Saks Fifth Avenue store in Beverly Hills, the Elie Tahari boutique donated 15% of all proceeds to The Alliance on opening day.

Library Alehouse

On the last Tuesday of each month the Library Alehouse, a microbrewery and restaurant in Santa Monica, donates 15% of proceeds directly to a charity. The Alliance has been the beneficiary of this generous donation annually for the past two years.

Tennis for Tots

For over a decade, Alliance board member Mitch Kaplan of the Kaplan Stahler Agency has been underwriting and coordinating the Tennis for Tots event, raising over $700,000 for The Alliance. The round robin tennis tournament is held annually at the Los Angeles Tennis Club and honors the memory of David & Lynn Angell, who died in the September 11th terrorist attacks.

Reiss Event

When British clothing boutique Reiss opened its flagship Los Angeles store on Robertson Boulevard The Alliance received 15% of proceeds over opening weekend.

YogaWorks

YogaWorks in Larchmont hosted a holiday charity yoga class benefitting The Alliance. In this donation-based class (suggested donation of $20 was encouraged), multiple yoga instructors donated their time to lead segments, accompanied by live music and even singing. It was a beautiful event and 100% of proceeds benefited The Alliance.
