The 3rd Annual the RIGHT to LAUGH!

This fun and hilarious event has featured some of the best in comedy — Drew Carey, Jimmy Kimmel, Bill Maher, Dana Gould, Sarah Silverman, Dave Koechner, Bob Odenkirk, Bob Saget, Adam Corolla, and many more. Last year’s first the RIGHT to LAUGH Award was presented to the legendary Fred Willard.

Over 500 guests from the entertainment, corporate, and philanthropic communities will raise awareness and funds for The Alliance for Children’s Rights, a non-profit organization that protects the rights of impoverished and abused children and youth so that they have safe homes, health care, education, and a reason to laugh again.

Underwriting and sponsorship opportunities are available with benefits and recognition. Sponsorship opportunities are available now and individual tickets will be available in 2012.

The 2nd Annual RIGHT to LAUGH event was a huge success at The Catalina Jazz Club this year, raising over $130,000 to benefit The Alliance for Children’s Rights. Dana Gould the emcee along with Bill Maher, Garfunkel & Oates, Dave Koechner, Bob Odenkirk, Ali Wong had the audience in hysterics! The highlight of the evening was the legendary Fred Willard accepting the first “the Right to LAUGH Award,” presented by Jimmy Kimmel.

A heartfelt thank you to our Co.Chairs Peter Benedek, Wendi Trilling & Gene Stein and the Friends of The Alliance, an auxiliary group who support The Alliance in raising awareness and vital resources to continue its work.
