Natalie Klasky Mac

Benefits Program Director

Natalie Klasky Mac (she/her) is the Benefits Program Director at the Alliance with three years of experience helping caregivers with home approvals and appropriate funding for the minors in their care.

Specializing in Resource Family Approvals (RFA), Foster Care Benefits, Adoption Assistance Program (AAP) and Kinship Guardianship Assistance Payment program (Kin-GAP), Natalie leads the team in direct services (administrative fair hearings, rehearing’s and writs of mandate) and systemic advocacy (coalition meetings and recommendations for policy reform). Natalie also supervises the adoptions inquiry practice, which helps secure appropriate retroactive and prospective funding for prospective adoptive parents.

Before joining the Alliance, Natalie worked at the Office of Clients’ Rights Advocacy, where she helped Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center consumers with regional center services and eligibility, In Home Supportive Services (IHSS), Medi-Cal, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI), and special education. She has also worked in the Youth Practice Group at Disability Rights California and volunteered for Learning Rights Law Center’s Education Rights Clinic. Natalie started her legal career as a fellow with Public Counsel’s Consumer Law Project, where she advocated for the rights of students facing debt collection, families facing foreclosures, and victims of patient dumping.

Natalie holds a J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles and a B.A. from California State University, Northridge.
