Rachel Stein, Esq.

Transition-Age Youth Services Program Director

Rachel holds a JD from the University of Michigan Law School and a MSW from the University of Michigan School of Social Work. She holds a BA from Swarthmore College. Before joining the Alliance, Rachel worked in the Children’s Rights Project at Public Counsel, where she represented caregivers in dependency adoption proceedings and in their efforts to obtain additional benefits and services for their children from LA County. Rachel also has experience representing transition age youth in the areas of housing, education, and family law. Prior to her child advocacy work, Rachel practiced employment litigation first at Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP and then at Fox Group Legal.
